Farm Camp: From the Farmers Market to our Kitchen Table
This hands-on, farm-to-table summer camp experience teaches children where their food comes from — and how it gets from the garden to their plate!
Campers will dig into the full harvest journey as they:
🌽 Harvest fresh produce straight from the garden
🍓 Make homemade freezer jam
🌽 Learn how to shuck corn
🥕 Create simple, healthy snacks using farm-fresh ingredients
🥫 Explore the basics of canning vegetables
❄️ Discover how to prepare and store freezer-fresh foods
Through harvesting, preparing, and preserving, campers will gain confidence in the kitchen, learn valuable life skills, and develop a deeper appreciation for fresh, local food.
By the end of the week, they won’t just understand “farm to table” — they’ll have lived it!
Once you fill out all of the online information, Whittney our Director of Farm Fun will contact you to collect payment!
This camp is best suited for those students rising to the fist grade through sixth grade!
