About this Event

About this workshop:

In this one-day sculpting workshop for kids, students will study a variety of fantasy animals and be guided by a teacher to sketch their own before creating one with clay! At the end of the workshop, students will have the choice to either take their artworks home or leave them to be bisque fired and collected later.

Age: 6-10

Date & time: Wednesday 21 January, 10am-12pm

Cost: $40 General Admission (Free with Creative Kids Voucher. Note: Creative Kids Vouchers cannot be split. Any remaining amount will be forfeited.)

Note: This class has a capacity of 10 students and requires a minimum of 5 students to run.

Active and Creative Kids Vouchers

Great news, Bankstown Arts Centre is an approved Active and Creative Kids Provider! This means you can use your Active and Creative Kids Voucher for this class, to reduce the price by $50! Enter your Active and Creative Kids Voucher number and child's details at the checkout.

Parents, guardians and carers can claim a $50 voucher per year to put towards the cost of lessons and fees with registered providers. School-aged children between the ages of 4.5 to 18 are eligible and applying for vouchers is free.

You will not be able to enrol in a class with a discounted Active and Creative Kids Voucher ticket unless you have a valid Active and Creative Kids Voucher number. Remaining balance cannot be used. Covid Safe Plan:

Bankstown Arts Centre has a council-approved 'CovidSafe Plan' in order to ensure the health and safety of all visitors and Arts Centre staff. Measures include physical distancing, contactless hand sanitising and regularly cleaning.

A photo consent form will be either emailed to you or be given to you in person. Cancellation Policy:

Bankstown Arts Centre cannot accept responsibility for changes to students’ personal circumstances that prevent attendance. Fees are non-refundable and there are no transfers or refunds if you miss a class.

Fees are kept to a minimum and cover tuition, the use of equipment during classes and where included, the cost of tutor fees and/ or basic materials. Fees and charges may increase per financial year. For more information on fees, refer to Canterbury-Bankstown Fees and Charges document
