The Oconee County Library is thrilled to announce the return of its beloved annual celebration, FanFest, now in its fifth year. Taking place on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Wire Park, this free, all-ages event brings together the best of local art, performance, pop culture, and community. With over 60 vendors, live stage performances, gaming, cosplay, workshops, and more, FanFest is the ultimate day out for the whole family.
Live Performances & Entertainment
The main stage will feature an exciting lineup of performers throughout the day:

Additional entertainment includes live demos and performances from the Athens School of Arms, UGA Juggling Club, and Athens Puppetry Club. Don’t miss the exclusive screening of director Chris Pendry’s latest film, followed by a live Q&A session.
Local Shopping & Vendors
Browse through more than 60 vendors offering local art, handcrafted goods, collectibles, and unique treasures. This year’s vendor lineup includes beloved sellers from the Oconee Farmers Market, making it a one-stop shop for community goods and finds.
Cosplay Contest
Show off your best costume in the FanFest Cosplay Contest! Grand prize winners will take home coveted passes to both DragonCon and MomoCon. Whether you’ve spent months on your outfit or just threw something together, all are welcome to participate.

Gaming for Everyone
The dedicated gaming area will have something for every kind of gamer: pinball and arcade machines, board games run by the UGA Board Game Club, Nintendo Switch games, and a variety of D&D and RPG-style games. Card game fans can enjoy a Pokémon Card Swap hosted by the local Pokémon Card Club, plus ongoing Chess and Mahjong games throughout the day.
