About this Event
Join us for an exploration into the world of paper dioramas, where imagination knows no bounds and creativity flourishes! In our workshop, of participants ages 5 and up (accompanied by an adult) will create their own safe spaces in paper form. Participants will learn the art of crafting paper dioramas, using simple materials to construct scenes that represent safety, comfort, and security. Through hands-on activities and interactive storytelling, children will explore what it means to feel safe and how they can create safe spaces both in their imaginations and in their everyday lives.
Children will have the opportunity to design and build their own unique diorama, incorporating elements that bring them joy, peace, and a sense of security. Whether it's a cozy bedroom, magical place, or a futuristic space station, the possibilities are endless!
Not only will this workshop encourage creativity and fine motor skills, but it will also foster important conversations about emotions, boundaries, and the importance of feeling safe and supported. At the end of the session, participants will proudly take home their completed dioramas, along with a newfound appreciation for the power of imagination and the importance of safe spaces.
