Join us on April 10 for a family-friendly nature program celebrating the beauty of North Texas wildflowers!In partnership with Arlington Public Library, this interactive experience introduces children and families to the important role wildflowers play in supporting pollinators and healthy ecosystems.
The program begins with an engaging story time featuring two nature-themed books about wildflowers, pollinators, and the animals that depend on them. After the stories, participants will head outside for a short, easy walk with Dr. Ellen Ravkind to search for blooming wildflowers along the pond’s trail. Along the way, families will learn how native flowers support bees, butterflies, and other wildlife throughout North Texas.
This program is designed for young learners and their families who want to explore nature, discover local plants, and enjoy time outdoors together. It’s a wonderful opportunity to build curiosity about the natural world while experiencing the colors of wildflower season.
