This is not a 'baby sleep training' workshop. This is H&B family sleep support. Educational, realistic and with your baby's wellbeing at the core.This workshop will guide you in working towards independent sleep for your baby but without withholding connection, support and comfort. It embraces a very ongoing responsive approach including safe bed-sharing and co-sleeping if this is appropriate for you.
This is a very small group workshop with a maximum of 4 couples.
We aim to promote less worry around your baby’s sleep, encouraging a more relaxed approach for both baby and parents which directly impacts everyone’s ability to sleep.
The workshop will...
Guide you in working towards independent sleep for your baby, at a point when they are developmentally able, and using approaches not withholding connection, comfort and responsiveness.
Teach you the key approaches to smooth and stress-free nap and bedtime routines that will enhance your baby’s sleep quality.
Address the barriers that cause night waking, ensuring uninterrupted sleep when it matters the most and in turn aid you to enjoy the benefits of improved sleep for yourself and provide the foundation for overall family well-being.
Teach you to understand and navigate the changes and transitions in your baby’s sleep patterns whilst promoting healthy infant brain development.
This is not 1:1 tailored sleep support but…
You will be asked to complete a comprehensive questionnaire ahead of this session in relation to your family.
You will be provided with a summarised personal plan addressing your main challenges.
It is of course not mandatory but partners are encouraged to attend with you - to work best, both parents need the same level or understanding and to be committed to the process and be fully supportive of one another.
Babies are of course welcome to attend in this baby led environment.
The session lasts for 2 hours including time for Q + A and a refreshment break.
