Tired of being tired? Have you ever struggled with your sleep routine? Are you ready to break the cycle?
We understand that everyone is different and has individual sleep needs and challenges, but one thing we all have in common is that we need sleep to function!
Challenges in falling asleep and staying asleep are common across all ages. We recognise poor sleep as a cause of frustration and negative emotional state, which affects our relationships and motivation and ability to participate in daily living.
In this session we aim to work together to develop recognition of barriers to good sleep, the impact on sleep from physical, cognitive, behavioural and environmental perspectives.
We will be looking to create a personal toolkit to help manage better sleep routines building on simple techniques and coping strategies to aid in self-soothing, using examples of visualisations, music, essential oils, drinks and more.
