Singing for adults, singing for kids, singing for all - whatever age and whatever experience.
About this Event
There will be:
- a facilitator leading the songs
- space for sharing songs yourself (if you want to)
- some toys and an outdoor space to play
- Fruit for the break in the middle
No notation (sheet music), no words, just listening and singing.
Kids will be running around and may come in and out of the singing session, and adults may need to as well – we will welcome whatever people need.
Hot drinks and food available in the Farmhouse café 10-3.30pm [hot food to 2:30pm]
We are developing this together, and welcome ideas and input. We hope to run it on a monthly basis.
Session is on a donation basis. We want it to be open and accessible anyone, but do have some costs to cover (rent contribution, facilitator, and snack). Please donate what is affordable to you. If you cannot afford the suggested donations, please let us know.
Spaces are limited to 15 adults + their children. So please book in advance - 1 ticket per adult [and advise number of children on the order form].
Suggested donations are:
£1-£4 – Low income
£6-7 – Standard suggested donation
£8-10 – Supporter rate.
All donations go to cover rent, fruit, and the guest facilitator.
There will also be a free circus drop-in workshop for families at 12-2pm on Sunday March 22nd at Bridgend.
Getting to Bridgend
Bridgend has lots of bike parking and is accessible by bus. If driving please park across the road at the entrance to Inch Park unless you are a blue badge holder, in which case you can park in the Farmhouse car park. Regular Lothian Bus routes: 24. 33. 38. 49. Our nearest bus stop is Craigmillar Cemetery and then a 5 minute walk.
