Join us at Family Safety Day, “Hanging with Heroes,” on September 21st. It will be hosted at Mission Valley Shopping Center, right outside the all-new Novo Brazil Brewpub, an internationally acclaimed and award-winning California brewery.
At the heart of the Family Safety Day Event is a simple yet powerful goal: to equip local San Diego families with vital safety information while ensuring everyone has a blast.

FREE Community Zone + Hero Headquarters Tickets: This ticket includes access to Hero Headquarters, the Superhero Scavenger Hunt, the Superhero Kids Costume Contest, the Superhero Center Stage, Superheroes in Training, and the Superhero Support Zone, which includes all our local businesses and non-profit partners. We have some heroic photo opps to snap that instaworthy photo! You can also visit our food and beverage partners, which are available for purchase, and enjoy crafts, FREE Swag & samples from various partners; a live DJ will be available.

Meet and celebrate the heroes who keep us safe every day at Hero Headquarters and check out their Emergency Service Vehicles: Families will explore fire trucks police cars and ambulances meeting the real-life heroes who operate them. Explore over 6+ emergency service vehicles and interact with the brave men and women who use them every day. Hear their stories gain valuable safety tips and discover what it takes to be a community protector.
This hands-on experience is perfect for aspiring heroes of all ages. Remember not all heroes wear capes!
