Join RSPB Shetland as we launch Family Rockpooling in the summer! These sessions are designed for families to connect with each other whilst connecting with nature, learning about the natural world, boosting confidence outside, and having fun! Dates:

What’s on: We will be exploring the incredible hidden world of rockpools to discover the plants, creatures and algae that live here. We will have the opportunity to get closer to some of the creatures, understanding and questioning more about their behaviours and habitats.

Under 3s go free. We aim to make our events financially accessible; if cost is a barrier, please get in touch with [email protected] – we want you there! And if you’d like to pay more, extra donations are gratefully received on the day. Funds from ticket sales support species and habitat in Shetland.
Parking: Parking available at site, please park considerately without blocking driveways/access.
Accessibility: This site is not fully accessible and requires a scramble down a bank, and takes place on an uneven shore. If you have any accessibility requirements, please contact [email protected] so we can ensure you get the most out of the event.
Toilets: Public toilets available at site.
Weather: Please dress for the weather with sturdy and waterproof footwear (wellies are best!) Weather related cancellations will be communicated via email to ticketholders.
