About this Event
Imagine life through pets’ eyes.
(PG) - Continuing the story of Max and his pet friends, following their secret lives after their owners leave them for work or school each day.
Come early to enjoy these puppy-licious fun offerings:
- Mix and mingle with the folks from Satchel's Last Resort who will be on hand with pups who need love and a home.
- Laugh with the Poop Fairy and become a champion in the Poop Toss Game! Science and Environmental Council in partnership with Sarasota County Stormwater will be on hand to educate pet owners on the importance of pet waste disposal to protect local waterways from harmful bacteria and nutrients.
Come hungry and thirsty! will be serving delicious food, fresh popcorn and refreshing drinks.
Bring your blankets, chairs, and friends to add even more comfort and fun.

Know Before You Go:
- The Bay park address is 1055 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota 34236
- Free parking is located around the site and all parking lots remain open — along Blvd of the Arts and in front of the Van Wezel, Municipal Auditorium and Blue Pagoda. Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas.
- Construction of the new Town Square (located between the Municipal Auditorium and Art Center) is underway and affects pedestrian routes between the parking lot along N. Tamiami Trail and venues west of Van Wezel Way (incl. The Bay park, Van Wezel, and Holley Hall). Signs are posted to direct you between these locations. - Some events attract large crowds: Arrive early, be kind, and please be patient.
- All pets must be non-aggressive and on a leash at all times. Owners are expected to pick up after their pets.
- Please report any risky or unsafe behavior to the Sarasota Non-Emergency Police 24 hours a day (941) 316-1199.
NOTE: In the event of inclement weather, this event will be CANCELLED. Notices will be communicated via The Bay website calendar, Eventbrite, Facebook and Instagram up to one hour before start time as unpredictable Florida weather changes quickly.
