Join us at the Legacy of the Lakes BoatHouse for a free family movie night! We will have a showing of Night at the Museum starting at 6 pm. There will be free popcorn and beverages available. Bring the kids and the chairs and blankets and get ready to laugh.After the movie is an optional opportunity to take a peek inside the museum as we prepare for our upcoming season. Kids are invited to bring a toy to leave at the museum overnight. Staff will take a photo of what their toy gets up to during their “night at the museum” and will have it printed out to share when the toy is picked up the following week.

Synopsis: When Larry Daley (Ben Stiller), a divorced father who can’t seem to keep a job for more than a week, applies for a job at the American Museum of Natural History, he is assigned as a night guard. However, a seemingly easy job turns out to be a wild ride when he finds that an ancient spell has caused the “inhabitants” of the museum to come to life.
