About this Event
In this interactive workshop, you’ll create your own small family zine, a handmade booklet combining photographs, stories, and personal reflections.
We’ll explore how we document our lives today and consider which images and memories we choose to keep for the future. As part of the process, you’ll reflect on what matters most in your personal or family archive and experiment with creative ways of preserving it.
Participants are welcome to bring their own photographs, and mini printers will be available during the session. All materials are provided, and no previous experience is required.
This workshop is part of an ongoing PhD research project exploring digital photography, memory, and family archives. Participants will be able to keep the zine they create. You may also be invited to answer a few short questions at the end of the workshop. Insights from the session may be used as part of ongoing research.
