Introducing the Department of Services for the Blind (DSB)’s Explorers Program for youth ages birth – 13!DSB now provides services for children under age 13 and their families. To introduce families to this new program, we are hosting in-person and virtual events across the state.
These Meet and Greets are for parents across the state to talk about their children’s needs and interests, learn about available services and resources, and share ideas to support their children.
Families will have the opportunity to:
🔸 Talk to DSB professionals about the new program and how we can support families with Low Vision, Blind or Deaf-Blind children age 13 and under
🔸 Connect with other parents and families in your area
🔸 Share information and explore resources for your child
🔸 Gather in kid-friendly spaces
