Following the successful first production of plays Lost Fox return with four new 25-minute plays in a show entitled, Family Matters. Lost Fox’s second outing showcases plays written and produced by local writers Ann Morgan, Gareth Rhodes, Ingo Lyle-Goodwin, and Rosie Williams, which all have thought-provoking stories to tell.The plays:

The General Strike sweeps the nation in 1926, placing striking miner Robert and his farmer brother, Pritchard, on opposite sides of the political divide. Forced together by the struggle to survive, their lifelong family feud erupts. Can they find common ground amidst the strife?

Melanie, Faith, and Jean three generations in the same family—gather on Darren’s wedding day amid tension that could overshadow the event. Tasked with resolving their issues, Jean guides the conversation, yet an underlying force seems to drive their conflict, hinting at deeper, long-standing problems.
Days Before the Storm
A father and son survive together, alone in a forest battered by increasingly powerful storms. As the son’s childhood memories come back to haunt him, he begins to realise that his father’s insistence on living in the past will cost them both their future.
