EPIC Family Hike - 'Seven Sisters' Cliff Walk from Seaford to Eastbourne
Calling all Newham residents! Head down to Seaford for a 10-mile guided walk with your community. We will meet at Tesco Esso Express 542 Romford Rd, London E7 8AF at 8 am sharp on Sunday 5th May 2024 (bank holiday weekend). Travelling via coach, we will be at Seaford BN25 4AB for the start of our 'Seven Sisters' Cliff Walk. We will then begin a slow walk along the coast of the blue sea and white-faced cliffs to arrive at Eastbourne Pier at 5:30 pm.
On the way, we can stop for picnics, visit local produce shops, and bond with our families, friends, and neighbours. We have partnered with a family counselling organisation (MFF) that will provide activities for kids and be available to ensure you and your family create fond memories.
Join us for an epic coastal adventure from Seaford to Eastbourne! The 7 Sisters Walk offers breathtaking views of the English Channel and iconic chalk cliffs. Lace up your hiking boots and get ready for a day of exploration and natural beauty.
EPIC has partnered with Newham Council (People Powered Places) to deliver this part-funded subsidised community trip to Seaford & Eastbourne. Tickets are limited to purchase now!

We will then begin a slow walk along the coast of the blue sea and white-faced cliffs to arrive at Eastbourne Pier at 5:30 pm. We will aim to return to Newham by 7:30 pm ahead of another day's rest (Bank Holiday Monday).
If you are unable to walk the full duration of the trek, public transport (bus) and taxi services are available along the road (A259) which would take you to the end destination Eastbourne Pier in 15 minutes.
Please note, that we are unable to wait for latecomers due to the specific timing of the itinerary and hire of the coach. Please ensure you arrive in good time for both departure and return.
