Important Participation Guidelines for Family Halloween Pack Walk. ⬇️ Before participating, please review ALL details carefully. 🎃Join Whelan’s Coastal Pack during our very 1st Family Halloween Pack Walk. Costumes encouraged. 👻
EVENT PARTICIPATION: All ages are welcome, however we're counting on parents and caregivers to ensure children's safety. Please keep your kids closely supervised and next to you at all times - children are not permitted to pet or approach other participants' dogs without explicit permission from the dog's owner. We're committed to a fun and safe experience for both humans and dogs, and your cooperation helps make that possible!
LIABILITY DISCLAIMER:
• Attend at your own risk - this includes your family and dogs.
• Responsibility: You're fully responsible for your dog, family members, personal space and maintaining distance between dogs; no on-leash greetings.
• Legal Acknowledgment: Tyler Whelan at Whelan's Coastal Pack is not liable for any incidents. By attending, you agree to accept all liability for actions occurring during the event.
Safety Rules:
• Maintain distance between dogs; no on-leash greetings.
• Muzzle dogs with a biting history.
• Muzzle dogs if behavior is uncertain.
• Aggressive dogs aren't permitted.
• Participants and their dogs must stay at least 5 feet away from each other at all times.
• Children must be closely supervised and next to you at all times.
Children are not permitted to pet or approach other participants dogs.
• Let's keep the pack together! For a smooth and safe group walk, please try to maintain a steady pace and stay with the group - no stragglers, please!

No registration needed! You'll experience socialization in a lively setting. I'm looking forward to welcoming back familiar faces and meeting new participants alike. Just drop by and be part of the fun!
During the walk, you'll work on:
• Leash handling skills
• Discover different tools to walk your dog with; find out how they can greatly improve and benefit the walk
• Learning how to walk your dog around other dogs safely
• Socializing near other dogs
• Building trust and communication with your dog
This walk is perfect for dogs of all ages and breeds and is a great way to:
• Fulfill their pack drive needs
• Strengthen your bond with your dog
• Improve your dog's behavior and socialization skills
Details:
• Meeting at Bowring Park, after parking in the upper large gravel lot, go up “park road” crossing “squires avenue” and through the main gates, we will be on the grass field to your left. (exact location pinned at the bottom of details.)
• Duration: 1hr 15mins from 6:00pm-7:15pm.
• Suitable for dogs of all ages and breeds.
• Focus on learning dog psychology and socialization.
Please plan to arrive on time! We'll be gathering for 15 minutes before we start the pack walk, and we'll use this time to keep our pups engaged with some fun pylon work. This will help them stay focused and calm while we wait for everyone to gather. We'll start the walk promptly after the 15-minute mark, so feel free to take your time getting settled.
Notice: Please be aware that photos and videos will be taken throughout the pack walk and a group photo may be taken at the end. If you'd prefer not to be included, kindly let us know when you arrive.
Afterwards: Time for Q&A
Following the pack walk, we'll have a quick dedicated Q&A session, where you can get advice from Tyler about your dog, training, additional services, and questions that may be on your mind, etc.
