Christian Howse is a singer-songwriter from Newfoundland, Canada, making waves in the East Coast music scene. With the release of his sixth album, Break Through (2025), Christian showcases his raw talent and artistic evolution, weaving together distinctive fingerstyle guitar work, evocative lyricism, and bold storytelling.
Building on the momentum of his previous album Liminal, which established him as both a songwriter and a social observer, Break Through pushes further with a dynamic, edgier sound. The album’s singles — Marionette, The Gardener, and Aurora Borealis — each highlight new layers of his craft, blending earnest vulnerability with a sharp, contemporary edge.
Christian’s artistry has earned him recognition across Canada, including a 2018 Canadian Folk Music Award nomination for Young Performer of the Year, three MusicNL nominations in 2019 (Rising Star, Male Artist of the Year, and Folk/Roots Artist of the Year), and a 2025 MusicNL nomination for his sync placement on Hudson & Rex. With Break Through, he continues to solidify his place as one of Newfoundland’s most compelling voices, drawing listeners in with honesty, grit, and a sound that bridges tradition and modernity.
Samuel Stairs
Samuel Stairs is a musician and filmmaker from Lewisporte, NL, currently operating out of St. John’s. Playing an eclectic mixture of rock and folk, he’s best known for often incorporating off-kilter lyrics and unusual song structure into his music. He plays solo or as frontman of the power trio Tobirus, and is currently signed to Citadel House Records.

Our max capacity is 35 so larger groups (>3 people) should purchase tickets well ahead of time. Walk-ins may be available on the day of the show - please drop in or call 709-722-9167 to confirm.
Our Kitchen closes at 4:00pm, but snacks and baked treats are available till 9:00.
Please arrive at least 15 mins early to get seated and avoid the rush. Groups of 3 or more will be assigned a table; free seating for singles and couples. Please check in with our staff before seating yourself.
Seats will be held for 30 mins after the show start, after which they may be given to walk-ins. Tickets can also be transferred - login to https://locarius.io/.
