About this Event
Discover the world of food and the food environment with us this Family Fun Day.
Join our volunteers, scientists and researchers from across the STEM subjects as they dive into the world food and explore how food fuels us, whether we really are what we eat and if there’s a way to have your cake and eat it.
From the chemistry of cooking to freeze dried food, food's effect on the human body and food distibution across the world, discover food in a way you probably haven’t seen it before.
Family Fun Days are designed for children aged 6–12, but older and younger siblings also very welcome. All 12 year olds and under must be accompanied by an adult and those aged 4 and above need a ticket to attend.
