Have you ever wondered how people wrote their names in Colonial times or how Colonial kids had fun? Join us for another free Family Fun Day on Saturday, June 6 from 11 am to 1 pm. In honor of our country’s 250th celebration, attendees will learn how our founding fathers signed their names on the Declaration of Independence and learn to play colonial yard games.
During this drop-in event, guests will get hands-on experience with colonial writing tools (quills, linen paper, and ink) and then be able to take-home their work. Attendees will also be able to play colonial era yard games with members of the Henry Middleton chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Aiken County Historical Museum.
