Let your kids experience the magic of a real live music party - no tactical nap required! Music, fun, and a whole lot of dancing - this is one party you won’t want to miss.

We’re excited to introduce yet another late-night Jazz Bar favourite to a younger audience - this time, keys wizard and soulful vocalist Mike Kearney, leading a brilliant live band bringing serious groove to the dancefloor.

Expect upbeat, feel-good 70s and 80s pop-funk, led from the keys with rich, warm sounds, smooth vocals and irresistible grooves.

Kid-sized fun, grown-up tunes.
Perfect for kids and families who want something a bit more like a real gig- think live instruments, big sound and plenty of space to dance, move and enjoy the music together.

And parents, we’ve got you covered too! With our fully licensed bar, you can sip on your favourite cocktail, enjoy a cold beer, or unwind with a glass of wine while the kids groove to the tunes. We also have an impressive non-alcoholic beer selection.

THIS IS A KIDS EVENT- adults attending without children will not be permitted.

The band starts at 4pm (two 40min sets with a break in between). Please arrive early, seats are limited- doors open at 3.30pm.

Snacks and juices for children available to purchase from the bar.

This is not a drop off event- adults must remain with the children at all times.

The important stuff: Please note we’re a basement venue and, due to the historic nature of the building, there’s no disabled access and limited pram storage. We’re partially seated, so arrive early for the best chance of a seat.

A quick note on sound: this is not your average quiet kids’ concert. It’s a full band, and even with our sound engineer keeping levels family-friendly, it’s still a proper show. We recommend this event for ages 3+, and ear protectors are entirely at your discretion — especially for younger or more sensitive ears. Little ones are absolutely welcome, just use your own judgement regarding noise levels- after all you know your child best :)
