About this Event
We sure hope you will join us for this special spring event! Learning Among the Oaks invites the whole family to join us at the historic Santa Rita Ranch for a day of outdoor adventure, education, and fun for the whole family.
Santa Rita Ranch is a 1,700 acre cattle ranch located between Templeton and Cambria along the Highway 46 corridor. The property is permanently conserved for agriculture and wildlife habitat, boasting scenic vistas, wonderful wildflower displays, and abundant opportunities for nature exploration. Property access is limited to research, management, and special events like this one, so now is your chance to see this special place.
During this visit we will spend time hiking under the oaks, observing wildlife on and around the reservoir, and will enjoy a simple picnic lunch (provided!) while meeting and learning about a live native animal ambassador.
This event is FREE for you to attend thanks to the generous support of a JUSTIN Community Grant. Space is limited, so secure your tickets today. Transportation assistance is available to community members and families from San Miguel, Paso Robles, Templeton and Atascadero.
