About this Event
It's Earth Day at LEAF Urban Farm! Join us for a day of hands-on fun for all ages where we will focus on environmentally friendly crafts, composting methods, and more! Our day will include kid friendly activities, honey tasting, and touring the LEAF Urban Farm.
Activities include:
• Planting flowers
• Meet our wriggly worm friends
• Discover colorful pollinators & veggies
• Create garden-inspired crafts
• Experience our herb garden with all your senses
While this is a free event, we suggest a donation of $10 per family if you enjoyed the day and want to support our mission.
Location
The address is at The LEAF Urban Farm (38339 Mission Blvd, Fremont), not the LEAF Community Garden in Niles!
What to Bring
- Closed-toe shoes
- A reusable water bottle (we have tap water)
- Sun protection (hat, sunscreen) as needed
Parking (Please DO NOT PARK in the vet clinic lot)
- Access to the LEAF Urban Farm and our parking lot has moved from Mowry Avenue to Mission Boulevard. To enter, head to 38339 Mission Blvd, approach from the Niles direction, and turn right into LEAF just before the Bay Auto Exchange used car dealership. Exact coordinates here.
Bike parking is available inside the farm.
Public Transit
- AC Transit Bus 216 & 625 stops right outside the LEAF Urban Farm. Get off at Mowry Ave & Mission Blvd.
