Each summer, Big House hosts a day of family fun in partnership with Brown Mountain Beach Resort. This Sunday afternoon outing includes lunch, play time on the beach, and fellowship with others in similar situations. Thanks to our dedicated supporters, this day is 100% free for foster/adoptive/kinship families in Burke, Caldwell, and Catawba Counties. The event is from 12:30-5 p.m. rain or shine. Be sure to bring sun screen, bug spray, camp chairs, towels, etc. for fun on the beach and in the water. Lunch will include hot dogs, hamburgers, and plenty of sides.
