We will be in the small shelter inside the playground fence.

We want to create an environment that allows parents to dance with each other and friends, while their children are close by. There may be some co-parenting between friends to allow this to happen! And the playground will hopefully provide some entertainment to the children when they tire of dancing and/or watching dancing.
We welcome those who are child free! Just be aware of the possibility that someone's child could interrupt your dance, either directly by asking you a question or indirectly because your current dancing partner's child has taken off towards the woods and they must run!

Find us inside the fence at the playground. There are bathrooms available just on the other side of the parking lot.
This is a first come, first serve shelter: pro is that it is free for us, but we must hope no other large groups are there using it.

Ever been curious about DJ-ing? This is the best place to start because it is super low stress! All you have to do is have music you like to dance to, be able to make a playlist of your favorite songs on your preferred app, and be able to connect to a speaker via bluetooth (we have a speaker available, but you are welcome to use your own if you prefer). It is generally a good idea to sprinkle in a mix of lower-energy songs for breaks between higher-energy songs and that's about it!
Don't have enough favorite songs to make your own playlist? No problem! Just comment here the names of your favorite swing/blues/fusion tunes and our friendly DJs can incorporate some of them into their playlists (with enough heads up)!
