Family Constellations: Mother Wound Workshop

Sometimes it shows up as people pleasing, guilt, over giving, or difficulty receiving care. Sometimes it lives in anxiety, shame, numbness, body patterns, or the feeling of being “too much” or “not enough.” It may appear as merging with a parent, emotional distance, caretaking your mother, or repeating her burdens around love, food, rest, or self worth.

In Family Constellations we see these as systemic movements, loyalties to the mother line that reach for belonging and order.

On Sunday, 31 May, we gather at The Mill Community Centre, Bondi Junction for a focused, trauma-aware workshop to honour the mother line, include what was missing, and invite healthier inner resources: nourishment, permission to receive, soft strength, clear boundaries, and ease in the nervous system. We work gently, with consent and pacing.

No blame. Just dignity for every member of the family system, present and absent.

Bring your mother wound and receive a personal constellation facilitated by Daniel Del Monte during the workshop. This is for those who feel they are carrying something unresolved with their mother, whether through hurt, absence, enmeshment, grief, or a deeper struggle in receiving life, love, and support. Your constellation will be explored in the group setting with care, clarity, and respect.

👥 Community Participant
Join the workshop as part of the circle, without bringing your own issue for a full constellation. You will witness others’ constellations, take part in guided exercises, and may be invited to serve as a representative in the process. This role can be deeply meaningful, and often brings personal insight through observation and participation.

Grounding Meditation
We begin by settling the body and nervous system. You’ll be guided to connect with breath, the floor beneath you, and the support of those who came before.

Mapping Hidden Loyalties to the Mother Line
Through simple exercises we look at your bond with mother/mother figure: over-closeness or distance, taking sides, carrying her fate, being the caretaker, or rejecting “mother” altogether. We include birth, death, adoption, step/adoptive/chosen mothers, and experiences like illness, depression, addiction, or absence. Aim: everyone in their rightful place.

Live Constellations
Full Participants receive personal constellations; Community Participants witness and may be invited to represent. Daniel facilitates with a steady, non-judgmental style, tracking movements that bring what was excluded back into the system. This can bring relief around receiving, boundaries, anxiety/shame, body/food patterns, and grief.

Integration & Reflection
Time to digest. You’ll receive simple questions, journalling prompts, and shared reflections to help the experience land safely. We emphasise choice, pacing, and next steps if more support is needed.

Closing Circle
We close with a soft meditation to thank the field, honour mothers and mother figures, and restore peace to the system. You leave grounded, not flooded.

✅ Receiving care is hard; giving is easy. Rest brings guilt.
✅ Boundaries with mother (or other women/partners) feel confusing, too close or too far.
✅ You became the emotional caretaker or “little adult.”
✅ Anxiety, shame, or body/food struggles echo the maternal line.
✅ You carry grief, anger, or numbness toward mother (including estranged or deceased) and want movement without blame.
✅ You’re ready to include step/adoptive/chosen maternal figures and find your rightful place.
✅ You want to witness or experience deep, soul-level work in community.
No prior experience needed. Adults only.

Daniel is a Family Constellations facilitator known for safe, grounded space with quiet power. His work blends systemic clarity, spiritual depth, and respect for the soul’s journey. Based in Sydney, he guides individuals and groups into meaningful movement with reverence for every member of the system.

Confidentiality is foundational. Personal stories remain in the room. Short photos or clips may be taken for promotional purposes; participation is optional, let us know on arrival or via the order form. Your pacing and consent come first.

This is a self-awareness practice, not a medical or psychological service. If you’re in a vulnerable emotional state, consider attending as a Community Participant and seek professional support as needed.

Refunds are available up to 14 days before the event. Eventbrite’s fee is non-refundable. Constellations can evoke strong feelings; you are responsible for your wellbeing during and after the workshop. Please choose what feels right for you and reach out if you need referrals for additional support.
