About this Event
This course is designed for physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech & feeding therapists, ABA therapists, and special instructors. It will be a 2-hour learning experience designed for clinicians utilizing family coaching strategies. The course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and confidence to coach families during the therapeutic process.
You will be provided with the understanding of why family coaching is important, how to coach families using evidenced-based practices, family-specific solutions, and a variety of ways to integrate family coaching strategies within and outside of session time. Video examples will be utilized to demonstrate real-life experiences.

-Describe 5 best practice family coaching strategies|
-Develop a family plan for, incorporating specific strategies for both within and outside of session time

About The Presenter:
Molly Dresner is a Speech Language Pathologist and Feeding Therapist. She is ASHA (American Speech and Hearing Association) Certified and trained in the SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Approach to Feeding. She is also the mom of two young boys, Grey & Jack. She received her Masters in Speech Language Pathology from Teacher’s College, Columbia University, and her Bachelors in Speech and Hearing Science from George Washington University. She has worked in Early Intervention as a therapist and an evaluator since 2013. Additionally, she works in private practice with pediatrics. She authored The Speech Teacher’s Handbook, a parent’s guide to speech and language development and the children’s book, You’re So Nice, Baby. She specializes in building early language skills, picky eaters, problem feeders, breastfeeding difficulties, social-behavioral struggles, and family training.

For New York Licensed Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants
Therapeutic Resources is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Physical Therapy as an approved provider of physical therapy and physical therapy assistant education. The entire course is offered for .6 CEUs.
Cancellation Policy: 75% of course fee will be refunded if Therapeutic Resources is notified up to 21 days before the event. In lieu of a monetary refund, Therapeutic Resources also offers a credit for the full amount paid up until 5 days before the event. No refunds or credits are offered after the day of the course. If the course is canceled by Therapeutic Resources due to low registration, illness or cancellation of instructor, technical issues, or inclement weather. Therapeutic Resources will refund the full amount paid for the course.
