As the summer holidays are upon us again, join us in a free family session, and learn a new craft! In this session we will be teaching you how to weave with natural materials (branches, leaves, flowers, found plant matter, wool, craft yarns etc) and by the end of the session we will create a large piece made together! Parents and guardians are welcome to join in with their little ones in the creative activity. No age limit, all children welcome. No prior knowledge of weaving necessary, you will be taught the craft from scratch. You are welcome to bring some materials, if inspired. We will be walking around and selecting natural pieces to use together on the day.Your guide on the day will be Oana Damir, Cemetery Park Ranger.
This event is free, but please let us know if you cannot attend, so as to release the tickets to other families.

1) Please arrive on time and go to the meeting area: the Cemetery Park Lodge (on the left as you enter via our main gates on Southern Grove E3).

Access statement
This is an accessible, inclusive class. The maximum number of participants for each class is 20.
The event includes a walk through the park. We will be walking outside so please dress for the weather.
The Cemetery Park Lodge is wheelchair accessible but please get in touch if you have any specific needs. If arranged in advance a motorised vehicle could drive onto the site but there is no general parking at the Cemetery Park. There is on-street parking in the nearby area.
Please contact us with at least 2 weeks’ notice if you’d like BSL or other interpretation/translation and we will do our best to facilitate. Sadly we have no interpreters or translators available in-house.
Accessible disables toilet facilities are available. There is no adult changing table or hoist.
We are able to offer baby changing facilities and we can provide a private space for breastfeeding on request.
If you require prayer space during the event please let us know and we'll make a quiet space available for you.
We aim to make our events as accessible as possible and are learning constantly how to do this better. We want you to feel safe in nature.
Refund policy: If you tell us that you want to cancel your ticket, we will only give you a refund if you give a minimum of 72 hours notice before the start of the event.
