Summer's gone! It's time to tackle that New Year's resolution now and learn to swim before another year passes us by. Pull up to our Adult Swim Cinic and learn to swim this season & never miss out on another water activity while traveling.
Come join us for a fun and interactive swim lesson experience at our Pasadena Pool. Whether you're a beginner looking to improve your skills or an experienced swimmer wanting to refine your technique, our knowledgeable instructors are here to help you reach your goals.
Our lessons are 90 minutes and will run every other Friday and Saturday or the month @ 8 PM, starting November 7th in Pasadena, CA. Don't worry if you're not in the area, we promise to make it worth the trip or you can sign up for our carpool!
Pasadena is the perfect location for our lessons, with its clean and spacious pool set indoors and heated, it provides a comfortable environment for learning.
So grab your swimsuit and towel, and get ready to dive in! Spaces are limited, so be sure to secure your spot early. We can't wait to see you there!

Day 1: Intro to Swimming

Info: In this session, we will focus on building comfort and confidence in the water through essential skills. We’ll start with submerging and controlled breathing techniques, followed by gliding exercises to practice body position and streamline movement. Next, students will learn proper kicking techniques & add their breath to the movement. Finally, we’ll conclude with floating techniques, including back floating and front floating, emphasizing relaxation and body awareness.

Day 2: Developing Swim Skills

Info: In this session, we will focus on enhancing swimming techniques by introducing basic arm strokes, specifically freestyle, and combining them with kicking for effective propulsion. Students will practice arm pulls while maintaining a steady kick, reinforcing coordination and strength. We will also learn to swim short distances and transition into a float, ensuring students feel comfortable with their movements. Finally, we’ll introduce side breathing techniques essential for freestyle swimming, helping students develop a rhythm that enhances their overall swimming efficiency.

Day 3: Endurance Building

Info: In this session, students will integrate all the skills learned in previous classes to swim further, focusing on endurance and technique. Emphasis will be placed on maintaining a steady breathing rhythm while effectively utilizing arm strokes, kicking, and floating techniques. This practice will help build confidence in their swimming abilities as we work on stamina and refine their overall swimming performance in the water.

Day 4: Mastery & Confidence

Info: In this session, students will learn essential treading water techniques that promote stability and endurance, allowing them to stay afloat with minimal effort. Additionally, we will introduce safe diving practices from the poolside, focusing on proper body position and entry to ensure a smooth and safe dive. This combination of skills will enhance their water confidence and prepare you for more advanced swimming techniques.
