A FREE, evidence-based fall prevention program helping older adults improve balance, reduce their risk of falling, and stay active and independent. Open to the community. August 6th - 29th every Wednesday and Friday 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM The Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 1621 Maiden Ln, Wenatchee This program is designed for adults age 60 and older who are concerned about falls, have fallen in the past, or simply want to improve their strength, flexibility, and balance. It includes gentle group exercise, practical tips, and supportive discussion. Participants will learn how to: View falls as controllable Set personal goals to increase physical activity Make changes in their environment to reduce fall risks Practice simple exercises to increase strength and balance The program is sponsored by Aging and Adult Care of Central Washington.
