About this Event
The tale of the fall from grace is one well rooted in our history as well as our hearts. It's a tale told many times and still seems to impact us greatly. There is something morbidly fascinating about watching a protagonist fall into moral ambiguity, and through the suffering that lies behind their reasoning, their corruption begins to consume them.
It's been long believed that the first one to face such a destiny was a divine creature known as Lucifer. The first of the fallen Angels, now known as Satan. Although this may be far from the first time a story sympathises with the devil, the details of his time as an Angel are left ambiguous. This play wants to unravel that. And in doing so, I believe one comes to find that the Devil is more relatable than what one might have thought.
Inspired from John Milton's Paradise Lost, This surrealistic tragedy of the Devil will focus the heartbreak that came from being replaced in the eyes of his father. How this heartbreak breeds envy, pride and abandonment. A tale of not only fathers and sons, but also the remaking of oneself.
