Fall Meeting of the SoPE New York TriState Chapter

Dr. Daniel Burke is a critical care physician and leading expert on leveraging AI solutions to improve clinical care. His career has consistently bridged clinical and non-clinical domains. After earning a dual MD, MBA degree from Columbia University in 2010, his clinical training at NYU School of Medicine intertwined with health outcomes research and hospital operations.
In 2015, his career outside of medicine transitioned to digital health and AI innovations. Since then, he has served as clinical director for multiple companies, including Bayesian Health, designing predictive analytics tools using classic machine learning techniques, Bau Health, building custom data registries to enable health providers to integrate AI tools and conduct better outcomes research, and TribeHealth, developing a digital platform that enabled multidisciplinary telemedicine services to patients after post-acute care episodes. Dr. Burke also has a certification with the American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (ABAIM) and remains active teaching other clinicians the foundations of AI in medicine.
