We will be in Townsend near the Apple Valley Cafe (and General Store) at 7138 Lamar Alexander Pkwy in Townsend. We need to meet there at 8:15AM Saturday and Sunday for breakfast and then drive the trails. This Fall Leave Trail Ride will be on the backside of the Smokey Mountain Park based out of Townsend. The rides will be on Sat Oct 24 and Sun Oct 25. I'm driving up Friday the 23th and returning on the 26th.
The trails have been mapped out and I have my cabin booked. Saturdays ride will include Cades Cove and Parsons Branch Road, a piece of the Tail of the Dragon. Sundays Ride will be in Cherokee National Forest. We will meet at 8:15AM on the 24th and 25th at the Apple Valley Country Cafe for breakfast.
Let me know if you're interested in joining this ride. I will need to limit this ride to the first 15 off road vehicles max.
parking tags will be required for any vehicles parking for more than 15 minutes within the boundaries of Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Saturday is only required unless you plan on further riding in the park.
