Our first fall Swap for 2024 will be the Kids and Tweens swap. As always we are looking for volunteers to help with set up, help during the swap, and packing up at the end of the day. We are also looking for a destination of all the leftover items at the end of the day.For this Swap bring children's clothing, baby/nursery gear, kids' shoes, maternity clothes, baby wearing supplies, bikes, sports gear, books, games, and other kids and tweens items that you do not need that are still in good repair.
Items need to be clean and we do not accept items that smell of smoke. From 9-10 am, exchange your items for those that you need. After 10 am, anyone can take what they need, whether they bring items to exchange or not. Sort your items onto tables by gender/size. Take what your family needs. We will be at the Methodist Church at 2005 Mullins Ave in Alamosa.
Please sort your items before you come on Saturday as much as you are able. It will save you so much time! Items are grouped by gender and the following sizes:
0 – 3 Months; 3 - 6 Months; 6 - 9 Months; 9 - 12 Months; 12 - 18 Months; 18 - 24 Months; 2 T-3 T; 4 T - 5 Years. We are working on more sorting options for larger kids clothes for this swap.
Other items you can bring to the swap are:
Outerwear (Hats, Gloves/ Mittens, Coats), Shoes, Maternity clothes, Baby wearing/ Nursing Supplies, Small accessories (Diapers, towels, bottles, etc.), Big accessories (cribs, high chairs, baby swings, etc), and other miscellaneous items. If you bring costumes, have them in bags and all the parts together.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE: If you bring items with pieces, contain them. Put puzzles in bags or tape them shut. If a toy is a part of a set, put the whole set together.
If you are unable to attend the swap but have items to donate, please contact Mandy at the info listed below. Please do not just drop them off at the church. All left over items will be donated to local charities. Charity suggestions can be given to Mandy (see contact info below).

There is no charge for this event but we ask if you are able to donate a little money we can use it to purchase swap supplies for future events. These donations really help!
