Let’s go upside down and take a closer look at forearm balance, headstand, and handstand!
This 90-minute clinic will include a warm up for the wrists and shoulders, vinyasa to build heat in the body, and plenty of drills to look at inversions in different ways, using the wall and props. We’ll finish with restorative postures and spend some time in savasana.
Get in touch with the subtle aspects of your body and mind to find presence and control. We will explore various drills and ways to approach these poses. Come and learn more about how to safely invert so that you can practice these postures in the class.
Prerequisite: Able to hold full plank for ten breaths. Open to anyone who is interested in learning about inversions from a yoga perspective.
Please arrive on time, preferably 5-10 minutes early to settle in for the container. No late entries after 15 minutes into workshop start.
