The seasons are shifting, summer is fading, and the dark time of the year is fast approaching. But it's not here yet, and we're currently in a time of uncertainty, where we could have bright warm days, or dark wet ones, and we can no longer rely on the trend of previous days to tell us what to expect in these coming weeks. Fall Equinox, it's a time in between, a time of liminality. This is the season of Cernunnos, the horned god, the figure which sits between the upper worlds and the lower worlds, who exists between wild and civilized, good and evil, summer and winter.
Bring your drums, your flutes your rattles, and your howls, and get a little wild with the Druids of Columbia Grove, as we dance in the liminal spaces between.
Suggested offerings: Alcohol, specifically wine or mead. Whole milk. Prepared foods. For the warrior deity specifically, war poetry also makes a good offering.

Everyone is welcome! No experience in Druidry is required as we are far more than just a group of Druids. We are a community of pagans who are excited to celebrate all 8 major Pagan holidays!
Our community is diverse and we welcome all the different spiritual branches on the big Pagan and Polytheist tree.
If you want to participate actively, we have a portion of our ritual where it is appropriate to give offerings for your Sacred Dead, Nature Spirits, and/or Deities. Feel free to bring your own personal offerings to give to them during our rite. Offerings can vary, but are typically, food, drink, and/or flowers.
We also will be drinking the "Waters of Life" during the rite. These are beverages poured out of carafes (alcoholic an non alcoholic options available) into little shot glasses for everyone. If you feel more comfortable bringing your own beverage and/or cup, please do so.
For many of us this return to in-person environment is very exciting but please remember to ask before you hug and respect people’s wishes and personal space. ALWAYS respect the boundaries of others.
For our Fall Equinox rite we will assemble at 2:45 PM and the ritual itself starts at 3:00 PM sharp. Ritual will last about an hour and a half, followed by some socialization for those who wish to stick around. We do not have a closed circle ritual so you are allowed to arrive late; we simply ask that you join us quietly.

We politely request a $5 donation per person to help cover the rental space and offerings costs but this donation is not required to attend.
