Fall 2025 FIU CEC Senior Design Showcase

Join us for FIU's Senior Design Showcase, where over 500 senior students from the College of Engineering and Computing present more than 100 capstone projects in a dynamic, industry-centric exhibition. This is an opportunity to connect directly with emerging talent, see real-world solutions, and engage in one of the largest annual showcases of undergraduate design work in the region.

• See Practical Innovation. Projects span areas including software, hardware, systems engineering, IoT, cybersecurity, AI/ML, automation, healthcare technologies, next-gen electronics, infrastructure and more. Each project demonstrates not just theoretical knowledge, but solutions for real challenges.
• Meet Tomorrow’s Engineers and Computing Professionals. Engage with multidisciplinary student teams. Understand their technical approaches, constraints, and creative pivots. Build relationships early—these students will soon enter the workforce.
• Recruit & Sponsor. Identify candidates, hold informal interviews and scout for internship/full-time hires.

In their final year, FIU’s engineering and computing students take the Senior Design Capstone, a culminating experience where they apply everything learned in the classroom to develop original ideas, advanced designs, and innovative solutions for real industry challenges. The Showcase is where these projects come to life; a public platform for students to demonstrate how they turn theory into practice and creativity into impact.
