ABOUT THE EVENT
FALCONERA presents IPL – AUCTION, a strategic IPL-style virtual auction simulation where participants build their dream squad using a fixed budget. The event tests decision-making, bidding accuracy, teamwork, and cricketing knowledge.
This is a completely online event, accessible from anywhere.
OPPORTUNITY DETAILS
1. ELIGIBILITY
Open to all across India.
Inter-specialization teams are allowed.
Team size: 2–3 members
2. TEAM SELECTION PROCESS
If 10 teams registers :
All teams directly qualify for the final auction round.
If MORE than 10 teams registers:
A Quiz Round will be conducted.
Quiz Type:
10-20 MCQs
Based on cricket, IPL stats, player knowledge, logic, and basic auction strategy
Duration: 15–20 minutes
Top 10 teams with the highest quiz score advance to the final auction round.

3. COMPETITION FORMAT
Final Round: IPL Auction Simulation
Each team must build a complete squad of 11-15 players within a ₹99 Crore budget.
Mandatory Squad Composition
Minimum requirements in Playing XI:
3 Batsmen (BAT)
1 Wicket-Keeper (WK)
2 All-Rounders (AR)
3 Bowlers (BOWL)
Less than 11 players → DISQUALIFICATION
More than 15 players → DISQUALIFICATION
4. AUCTION PROCESS
Budget
Every team starts with ₹99 Crore.
Bid Increment Slabs
Bid RangeIncrement
₹0 – 50 Lakhs : +₹5 Lakhs
₹50 – 100 Lakhs : +₹10 Lakhs
₹1 – 5 Crore : +₹25 Lakhs
Above 5 Crore: +₹50 Lakhs
Important Rules
Once a team buys 15 players, they must stop bidding immediately.
Attempting to influence or increase bids after completion → direct disqualification.
Unsold players do NOT return later—no unsold player round.
5. WINNING CRITERIA
Primary Criterion
Team with the highest total points of their 15 purchased players wins.
NOTE : For Playing XI full points of the players will be considered and for substitute players , half of their original points will be added to the calculations
If There Is a Tie
Team with higher remaining budget wins.
If still tied → Team whose highest-value player is more expensive wins.
If still tied → Coin toss by Falconera Panel.
6. GENERAL RULES
Bidding must follow the increment rules strictly.
Teams must track their own budget.
Auctioneer’s decisions (hammer drop) are final.
Misconduct, delays, arguments → penalties or elimination.
Only registered members can participate in bidding.
Stable internet connection is mandatory.
7. IMPORTANT NOTES
Use one device or coordinate efficiently if multiple members join.
Player points/rating criteria will be shared with the final 10 teams.
No replacement once a player is bought.
Budget overshoot is not allowed under any condition.
