Hailing from the town of Young on Wiradjuri Country in regional NSW, the brothers Cameron (drums) and Rory B. Steele (guitar) were drawn to Sydney's inner west by the jangly guitars of the 90s indie scene, and met a Central Coast lad by the name of Toby Dowdell (bass) who was chasing that same dream. All the while Messrs Steele's redneck past is nipping at their heels, informing their cowpunk sensibilities.
