Please join us as we honor the incredible loss of life and health in Gaza, the life-saving work the FAJR team has provided in Gaza, and look forward into a future where we have the incredible opportunity and responsibility to rebuild the medical infrastructure in Gaza.

Location:Ritz-Carlton, Northwest St., Washington, DC, where we have a significantly discounted rate. All bookings must be made by January 28 to receive FAJR group rate discount.

FAJR Gala: Fundraising for Medical Missions

At the first annual FAJR Gala, we will have the deep honor of hearing from Dr. Mohammed Tahir, FAJR’s Chief of Surgery, among many other special guests. Dr Tahir has completed 6 medical missions in Gaza, has saved countless lives and limbs, and has heroically focused his time and energy on providing dignity-centered care to our patients.

At the Gala, Dr Tahir will be joined by Mazyouna Damoo, a child that has been in FAJR’s care in Gaza for many months treating a blast injury to her face, having recently been evacuated to Texas, USA with FAJR for life-saving medical treatment. We are absolutely honored to have these heroes joining us at the Gala, as there is no greater testament to the work we do at FAJR than hearing from the courageous doctors who make it all possible and the patients who trust us to care for them.

In addition to hearing first-hand stories from some of our FAJR Heroes, you will also hear from both Dr. Saleh (Chairman & CMO) and Dr. Nasser (CEO) about FAJR’s 2024 achievements including financials as well as the plans for 2025.

Guests will enjoy an evening of cultural immersion and camaraderie. Our amazing supporters and the FAJR team will come together to raise funds for the critical rebuilding of the medical healthcare infrastructure and continued medical missions.

The evening will be capped off with a live auction, providing attendees with a unique opportunity to acquire art pieces by renowned Palestinian artist Mohammed Elastal. Featuring twenty of his remaining stunning paintings from the original 400 set, this auction offers a rare chance to own a piece of Palestine's rich history and vibrant spirit.
