Atomix 2.0 – The 2nd MGCSC Intra Science Festival 2026 is a distinguished celebration of intellect, innovation, and analytical excellence, designed exclusively for the future innovators of MGC. Centered on the guiding theme “Empowering Minds Through Science and Technology,” the festival brings together inquisitive minds to challenge logic, explore scientific depth, and foster technological creativity through rigorous olympiads, intellectually stimulating quizzes, and creative expressions such as science fiction and design. This academic platform highlights how science flourishes when young minds are encouraged to question, calculate, and create curiosity into competence and knowledge into a powerful force for the future.

SEGMENTS OVERVIEW
▪ Science Olympiad
A written competitive examination covering Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology, designed to test conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.
Rules & Regulations:
1. The Olympiad will consist of 25 short-answer questions.
2. Participants must complete all questions within the allotted time.
3. The use of mobile phones, calculators or any external help is strictly prohibited.
▪ IT Quiz
A knowledge-based competition focused on information technology, computing fundamentals, digital trends, and the logical application of tech concepts.
Rules & Regulations:
1. The Quiz will consist of 25 short-answer questions.
2. Participants must complete all questions within the allotted time.
3. The use of mobile phones, calculators or any external help is strictly prohibited.
▪ Calculus Bee
A fast-paced mathematical challenge emphasizing differentiation, integration, limits, and analytical thinking—where speed meets precision.
Rules & Regulations:
1. The Exam will consist of 8 short-answer questions.
2. Participants must complete all questions within the allotted time.
3. The use of mobile phones, calculators or any external help is strictly prohibited.
▪ IQ Test
A logical reasoning competition assessing pattern recognition, analytical ability, and mental agility.
Rules & Regulations:
1. The Exam will consist of 25 short-answer questions.
2. Participants must complete all questions within the allotted time.
3. The use of mobile phones, calculators or any external help is strictly prohibited.
▪ Solo Quiz
An individual quiz covering general science, logical reasoning, and contemporary knowledge—accuracy and speed are key.
Rules & Regulations:
1. The Quiz will consist of 25 short-answer questions.
2. Participants must complete all questions within the allotted time.
3. The use of mobile phones, calculators or any external help is strictly prohibited.
▪ Rubik’s Cube
A time-based challenge testing spatial intelligence, pattern recognition, and problem-solving speed using a standard 3×3 cube.
Rules & Regulations:
1. The standard 3x3 Rubik's Cube shall be used.
2. Participants must bring cubes for themselves.
3. Time will be recorded to solve it, and the fastest time wins.
▪ Project Display
An opportunity to present innovative scientific ideas, models, or research concepts reflecting both real-world applications and theoretical depth.
Rules & Regulations:
1. Teams can have a maximum of 2 members.
2. Projects must be original.
3. Presentations should include working models, research posters or demonstrations.
4. Any hazardous materials or unethical projects are strictly prohibited.
5. Participants are required to bring their own necessary items such as electronic devices, multi-plugs and any other personal equipment they may need.
6. Judging criteria: Innovation, feasibility, scientific accuracy and presentation skills.
▪ Wall Magazine
Participants will create a visually engaging and informative wall magazine based on a scientific theme.
Rules & Regulations:
1. Teams can have a maximum of 2 members.
2. The wall magazine must include infographics, articles and creative elements related to science.
3. Originality is key; plagiarism will result in disqualification.
4. The maximum allowed size for magazine is 6×6 feet.
5. Judges will evaluate creativity and information accuracy.
▪ Sci-Fi Story Writing
A creative writing segment exploring futuristic ideas rooted in science and technology.
1. There is no word limit, and all writing must follow a scientific theme. Participants are encouraged to explore scientific ideas, concepts, or imagination freely.
2. Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
3. After completing registration, participants must submit their writing in the official Facebook group designated for the event.

- This is a closed intra-college event. Participation is strictly limited to HSC 2027 students of MGC
