Event Details: Bonfire and time for fellowship begins at 7:30pm, and the talk begins at 8pm. We will be located in the field to the left of St Philip’s main entrance - at the fire pit (7500 St Philips Ct, Falls Church, VA). S’mores, snacks, and refreshments will be provided for enjoyment, but please feel free to bring your own snacks or beverages to share! Seating is available, and lawn chairs are also encouraged.
Talk Details: Saint Frances Cabrini was an Italian nun, an American citizen, a religious founder, a spiritual director, a world traveler, and even a mystic. Join us on April 30 to learn from author Dawn Beutner about Mother Cabrini’s life, letters, and near-death experiences. Find out how Mother Cabrini's letters can help guide your own vocation and inspire you to greater holiness!
Speaker Bio: Dawn Beutner is the editor of a new collection of Mother Cabrini’s letters, All Things Are Possible. Dawn’s books about saints have been published by Ignatius Press, and her articles about saints can be found at CatholicWorldReport.com and DawnBeutner.com. You can check out her book here: https://ignatius.com/all-things-are-possible-atapp/
*Note: In the event of rain, we will move indoors to Room 4 at St. Philips (same address and time). We will post an announcement on this Facebook page with more information if this occurs.
