This interfaith gathering brings together clergy and leaders from Montgomery’s Christian, Jewish, and Muslim communities to explore how our diverse faith traditions can work collectively with MACH and the City of Montgomery to make homelessness in our city rare, brief, and non‑recurring.This event will also feature a panel of leaders from organizations actively serving people experiencing homelessness, as well as:
* What each faith tradition teaches about caring for the vulnerable
* Current programs and outreach efforts
* Gaps and unmet needs seen in the community
* Opportunities for shared action across faith lines
This Forum Will Be:
* Interfaith inclusive, honoring all traditions equally
* Collaborative, with shared leadership across all faiths
* Action oriented, producing real next steps
* Respectful, acknowledging differences while focusing on shared values
* Community-centered, grounded in compassion and service
