Right on Crime and the Texas Public Policy Foundation invite you to join us for an important conversation on how faith-based initiatives inside and outside prisons enhance public safety, reduce recidivism, and restore lives. This event will provide a clear policy overview and a dynamic discussion with experts, leaders, and practitioners.
Faith-based prison programs have shown 26% fewer rearrests and 35% fewer reconvictions, and nearly 73% of incarcerated individuals say religious programming is 'absolutely critical' to their rehabilitation. In addition, faith initiatives in Texas, Mississippi, and Louisiana prisons foster accountability, transparency, and discipline, contrasting with negative prison culture. Faith partners contribute essential volunteer time, mentoring, and reentry support—maximizing resources and delivering more value for every tax dollar.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how faith can strengthen our criminal justice system and create stronger and safer communities.
Complimentary lunch will be provided for in-person attendees, and you are also welcome to register for a livestream ticket and tune in online.
