July 27-30 | 12:00-3:00This engaging theatre camp introduces students to foundational acting and performance skills through a guided, age-appropriate adaptation of Little Red Riding Hood. Students will learn how stories come to life on stage while building confidence, communication skills, and teamwork in a structured, supportive environment.
Throughout the week, students will explore beginning theatre techniques including character development, voice projection, facial expression, stage movement, and basic stage presence. Instruction is designed specifically for beginners and includes guided warm-ups, theatre games, improvisation activities, and structured rehearsal time.
Students will work together to rehearse and perform scenes from the story, learning how actors use voice, movement, and expression to communicate character, emotion, and story clearly to an audience. This class is focused on building foundational theatre skills through structured instruction and guided performance practice, not informal childcare or free-play activities.
At the end of the week, families are invited to attend a brief, informal performance showcasing what students have learned during class.
All materials are provided.
