Join us to celebrate the magic & joy that Fairy books bring to our lives! This is a full morning of fairy related crafting and activities. During the morning you can make and take home:
- A beautiful fairy door wreath
- Your own origami lollipop stick fairy
- A magical fairy wand
- A gorgeous fairy crown
- An magical sparkly fairy rainbow using science
- A Fairyland map - this can be entered into our free prize draw to win a magical prize if you are happy not to take it home
You can also enjoy our Fairies in Literature trail around the library.
For an extra 50p you can have a go at guessing where Fairy Sparkles has lost her magic wand for the chance to win a prize.
All activities have Elf alternatives for anyone less enthusiastic about fairies!
This morning is an absolute must for any fairy or elf lovers and/or anyone who loves crafting. While the crafts are aimed at children and young people, we welcome anyone of any age if they would like to take part.
The event runs between 9.30am and 12.30pm and you can turn up anytime during this. However, we would recommend giving yourself enough time to fully enjoy the activities/crafts.
Tickets are £3 for Library members or £4 for non-members. It is free to join the library and can be done in person or online here https://discover.librariesunlimited.org.uk/protected/join-the-library
Please note that you only need a ticket for those wanting to enjoy the crafts & activities. Accompanying adults who are not taking part, are free.
