In this magical clay class, kids will design and build their own enchanting fairy houses! Using hand-building techniques, they’ll learn to shape whimsical doors, windows, and tiny details to create a perfect home for fairies.Participants will receive a short studio tour & get to pick the perfect glaze for their creations. All participants’ work will be checked/looked over by the instructor to ensure it will survive the firing.
Students will be able to pick the glaze color of their choice for their pieces. SCCA staff will fire and glaze all pieces following the class. Participants will be emailed when their pieces are complete and ready for pickup. This takes a minimum of 4-6 weeks.
Youth & Family Clay Workshops are creative, hands-on classes open to families and youth ages 7 and up. Kids ages 7+ may attend independently or alongside a parent or guardian. Children as young as 3 are welcome with a registered adult — in this case, both the child and accompanying adult must each register for the class. Families are encouraged to create together and make it a fun, collaborative experience!
All sign-ups are $30 per person, regardless of age. Each participant must be registered individually.
