Fairtrade Sale Day.This year's Fairtrade sale day is Sunday 16th November from 12 noon till 4pm in St Columba's Church Hall. As usual there will be a variety of fairly traded goods, crafts, jewellery, foodstuffs, and cards on sale. Please support the sale again this year as you have previously and invite family, friends and work colleagues Come and get your Christmas gifts here.
Buying fairly traded items ensures that the craftspeople and producers in some of the world’s poorest countries who have put the work into making the goods get a fair price for them. As in previous years we will also be serving delicious homemade soup and bread lunches and cakes throughout the day. Proceeds from the sale of refreshments will go to the Loreto Sisters working with deprived children and trafficked women in Albania.
