This in-person event promises a festive atmosphere, where you can network with fellow industry professionals, enter giveaways, and even score some discounts. Competitor information

Cost of most events (except "Pop Out", FX Makeup, & Shear Boss) $150 plus service fee.

FX Makeup & Shear Boss is $75 plus service fee.

"POP OUT" BATTLE cost is $200 plus service fee.

Cost of battle covers enterance for Competitor and their Model.

Competitors may enter in multiple events.

Prizes

1st place - $800 cash prize, XL Trophy, swag bag (over $500 value)

2nd place - L trophy, swag bag (over $200)

3rd place - M Trophy, swag bag (over $150 value)

"POP OUT" Winner- $1000 BIG CHECK, CHAMPIONSHIP BELT, BRAGGING RIGHTS., swag bag (over $500 value)

2nd & 3rd place prizes for "Pop Out" include trophy & swag bag!

Rules and Judging

Judging:

Faded Mafia judges will use a 50pt Universal Judging System and Manifest backstage. Only the Sanitation/Professionalism will be judged on stage.

Rules:

one-day exhibit hall entry for the competitor and their model(s). (One model per battle).

Each competitor must have their own sanitized equipment:

Clippers

Shavers

Trimmers

Razors

Shears

Brushes

Sharps Containers (+1pt)

Faded Mafia reserves the right to cancel or rescheduled this event.

Overall Competition Rules:

COSTUMES ONLY JUDGED IN "POP OUT" & FX MAKEUP CATEGORY!!

1. All contestants must bring a live model (13 years old & up) and barbering tools in order to participate in competition. The competition fee includes a one-day entry for the competitor and their model. Model numbers will be given to all participating models once confirmed and checked in at the registration area. Registration begins at 12:00PM. MODEL MUST BE PRESENT.

2. All models’ hair must be cut at the competition!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO LINEUPS PRIOR, NO EDGEUPS PRIOR, NO PHOTO REFRENCES (LOOKING AT PHONE FOR DESIGNS). YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. ALL their (model) hair MUST be at least 1/4 inch (2 gaurd) before the competition begins. Barber must show a transformation of the model's hair. Registration Staff will inspect model's hair during pre-judging or during check-in. Violation of this rule will result in the deduction of points and/or disqualification from competition.

3. All contestants must check in at the registration area at least one hour prior to the battle. If contestant is late, they will forfeit their place in the competition and their paid entry fee or fees. Please look for “Check In” when you arrive to the battle.

4. All contestants will have a specific time to complete their particular cut and style. Judging will be conducted on a visual basis only (look not touch)! Judges will use a point system on a scale of one (lowest possible score) to ten (highest possible score). If there is a tie in a category or prize placement, FADED MAFIA will determine the final winner.

*ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE AT THE VENUE BY 12:30PM.
