Join UW-Eau Claire faculty in a concert that features two monumental chamber music works, the sextets for winds and piano by French composers Louise Farrenc (1804-1875) and Francis Poulenc (1899-1963), alongside Poulenc’s Sonata for Cello and Piano.The First Fridays Faculty Recital Series highlights the talent and versatility of the UW-Eau Claire voice, piano, wind, brass, percussion, and string faculty. These intimate recitals take place in Pablo Center Clearwater Recital Hall known for its sweeping panoramic views of the confluence of the downtown rivers. Each performance features an engaging mix of solo and chamber repertoire, with past programs including works by composers such as Schumann, Farrenc, Poulenc, Brahms, and Ravel.
